I am very excited to start this weblog.
There are so many things to start sharing with the world, which I hope will inspire and motivate all who read it.
We can start with the basis of my life: I was born in 1985 and shared a wonderful childhood with 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Mom and Dad decided to home school us early on due to their love of moving to new places. My Dad worked as an independant contractor, senior systems analyst for many great companies. Contracts were ususally 1-2 years in term, and we all thought is was pretty cool to keep moving to new houses, cities, and states.
Going to school every day with my siblings make us very close, it is like our school reunion when we all get together now!
Having never had a teacher to lead us, we are all pretty independant. I think this is why every little job I had in high school didn’t satisfy me. I enjoyed them, but always thought I would do much better without any restrictions on my time, effort, money, and success.
So I am a happy entreprenuer. I started Pure Women’s Fitness in March of 2006, and got incorporated just recently in September, so I could add some superb employees to my team. It was only the next step up from sole proprietorship, and one I am thoroughly enjoying. I feel pretty darn big for 22, and pretty blessed to be able to do what I love as well as offer a great company for others to do what they love, too.
Check out my website www.purewomensfitness.com I would love your comments. The website was a small challenge to put together, and it is still a work in progress though it has changed faces many times in the last 2 years. I am not a Dreamweaver expert yet, but when you are thrust into something, you start to pick it up. My dad would be proud of all the little things I have learned by having to do it myself…like how to end a paragraph or move the text down…let me tell you, this stuff is tricky. Fun though!
Right now I have a lovely girl, Jana, working for me as a Personal Trainer, and I am so blessed by her! She has been with me full time since July, and to rave reviews! In the short time since then, she has studied for and recieved her ACE PT Cert, which is the most prestigious in the business, as well as taken on many clients who rave about her continuously. If you are reading this Jana, you rock and thank you for coming to me instead of anyone else, you are amazing!
I have a new group trainer who has inspired a new program in the works, I am really excited about her, but don’t want to give too much away until I am sure I have her! Keep posted!
My hubby is Andrew Gillis, he owns and operates Inspector Gillis www.inspectorgillis.com and he has been amazing as well, always supporting me. If you need your new home prospect or building inspected, please let me know I will set you up with Atlanta’s best
Oh, I am 3 months pregnant too! In full throttled morning sickness, but this is for another blog as it is getting late.
Thank you for listening to my first blog, and I hope you have a great time reading!
